Artist Point was built both into and out of a rocky ledge to create a serene artist’s retreat along the shores of Lake Superior.
Blast Rock from the home’s construction was collected and repurposed into walls, steps, and paving to ground the home into the rugged landscape.
A sun deck on the lake side of the house provides level ground to observe the horizon.
At the top of the bluff, an artfully stacked stone wall marks the entry.
